Why Consider a DPF Delete?

A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is designed to capture harmful particles from diesel exhaust, thereby reducing emissions. However, DPFs are prone to clogging, especially during city driving or short trips. This clogging can increase backpressure, reduce engine performance, and result in frequent, costly maintenance.

  • Frequent cleanings are required, adding maintenance costs
  • Reduced power and increased backpressure when clogged
  • Possible dashboard warnings or error codes impacting your driving experience

What You Can Expect After a DPF Delete

  • Reduced Backpressure: High-flow exhaust reduces exhaust resistance, allowing your engine to breathe more freely.
  • Improved Fuel Economy: Less restriction means smoother fuel flow and better mileage.
  • Increased Power: Reduced backpressure can unleash more of your engine’s potential power, especially noticeable when towing or accelerating.
  • Lower Maintenance Costs: By eliminating the DPF, you can say goodbye to frequent cleanings and repairs, saving time and money on upkeep while reducing the chances of DPF-related issues.

Installation

Click here to see the installation guide. Installation takes about 1 hour with basic hand tools done on the ground of your driveway or garage. Quicker if you have automotive-style lift. Cutting may be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers, and hardware are included. You may have to re-use some factory hardware.
Tuner Required: Removal of the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC involves removing and eliminating emission-related sensors. A DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from setting.

FAQs

Q: How Does DPF Delete Impact Emissions Regulations?

Off-Road Use Only – DPF removal is illegal for on-road vehicles in most regions. For competition/racing use only. DPF deletes may not be compliant with local emissions regulations, so it’s essential to verify your area’s legal requirements.

Q: How Much Power Can I Expect to Gain?

DPF deletes can yield noticeable power improvements, especially in high-load situations like towing or off-roading. Expect better acceleration and overall engine response.

Q: What does the "DPF race pipe" mean?

"DPF race pipe“also called "DPF Delete Pipe", only removes the part of DPF and keeps other parts.

Q: What does "DP-back/Downpipe-back" mean?

This means that the exhaust system runs from the downpipe all the way to the end of the exhaust pipe, replacing everything from the downpipe outlet back. This typically includes the mid-pipe, catalytic converter (if present), and muffler.
