DPF/EGR Delete w/ Up-Pipe 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke F250/F350/F450

EGR/DPF Delete Kit with Up-Pipe for 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke F250 F350 F450

With our EGR/DPF/Up-pipe kit, your 2008-2010 6.4 Powerstroke diesel could unleash the ultimate performance, thermal efficiency, and long-term reliability.

Eliminating the restrictive DPF, failure-prone EGR coolers, and leak-prone stock up-pipes reduces exhaust backpressure, lowers EGTs, maximizes turbo spool-up, and protects your engine from costly failures. For off-road and competition use only.

6.4 Powerstroke EGR/DPF/Up-pipe Kit Key Features

• Less Carbon Accumulation: Effectively reduces engine carbon buildup by eliminating soot-recirculation paths, keeping intake valves and combustion chambers cleaner for longer service intervals.
• Extends Engine Longevity: Prevents hot, contaminated exhaust gas from re-entering the intake, reducing thermal stress and internal wear to significantly prolong overall engine life.
• Lowers Exhaust Gas Temperatures: Drops EGTs noticeably under heavy load or towing, helping maintain safer cylinder temps and protecting critical components from heat-related damage.
• Improves Towing Fuel Economy: Delivers modest MPG gains during towing conditions by optimizing air/fuel mixture and reducing pumping losses, making hauling more efficient.
• Smoother Power Delivery: Reduces soot production and stabilizes combustion, resulting in a cleaner, more linear power curve with fewer flat spots and laggy responses.

6.4 Powerstroke EGR/DPF/Up-pipe Kit FAQs

Q1: What's the average install time for the EGR plate cooler and throttle valve delete kit?
A1: Typically 1-4 hours; installation time depends on proficiency.

Q2: By doing the EGR delete will I get check engine light? If so how to get rid of it?
A2: It will most likely to throw a error code on you dash, you need to tune your vehicle to get rid of the code. Check compatible tuner: EZ LYNK tune package | Mini Maxx V2 | Mini Maxx V1

Q3: Will installing DPF/EGR/Up-pipe kit void my 6.4's warranty?
A3: Using this product may void your vehicle's warranty. Please confirm with your vehicle manufacturer/dealer before purchasing and installing this kit.

Q4: Is the EGR delete kit worth it?
A4: One of the main benefits of an EGR delete is improved performance. The Exhaust Gas Recirculation system is known to cause carbon buildup in the intake manifold and reduce airflow to the engine. Deleting the EGR system reduces carbon buildup and improves airflow to the engine.

Q5: Do you get more HP with EGR delete?
A5: Deleting or disabling your EGR is unlikely to add horsepower because it only provides a slight change to the air contents of your engine's combustion chambers. While EGR deletes do provide a purer air-fuel ratio, the difference is minor, and any horsepower gains will be small -- likely in the range of 0-5 HP.

Q6: What does an upgraded up pipe do on a 6.4 Powerstroke?
A6: An upgraded up pipe improves exhaust flow from the manifold to the turbo, helping reduce backpressure, improve turbo spool time, and enhance overall engine performance, especially under higher boost levels.

Q7: Will this up pipe fit both 6.0L and 6.4L Powerstroke engines?
A7: This up pipe fits both 6.0L and 6.4L Powerstroke engines only if your 6.0L engine has been upgraded with 6.4L-style exhaust manifolds. It will not fit factory 6.0L manifolds.

Q8: Why is my 6.4 Powerstroke blowing white smoke?
A8: White smoke is often caused by coolant entering the combustion chamber due to issues like a blown head gasket or a cracked EGR cooler. Failed up pipes can also leak and affect combustion efficiency, increasing smoke output.

Q9: Why upgrade to 201 stainless steel up pipes?
A9: 201 stainless steel offers excellent heat resistance and durability at a more affordable price point, making it ideal for high-heat diesel applications like turbo up pipes in tuned Powerstroke engines.

Q10: Do upgraded up pipes increase horsepower?
A10: While they don't directly add horsepower, upgraded up pipes reduce exhaust restriction and improve turbo performance, which supports better throttle response and power delivery — especially in tuned or deleted trucks.

Q11: Can I install the up pipes myself?
A11: If you have mechanical experience and the right tools, installation is possible at home. However, due to tight engine bay space and torque specs, professional installation is recommended for best results.
