What is DPF, and Why You Should Do a DPF Delete
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is an emissions control device built into the exhaust system of diesel-powered vehicles. Its primary function is to trap and remove particulate matter from the exhaust gas before it is expelled into the atmosphere.
When DPF clogs up, it increases backpressure, which will disturb and slow down fuel flow. After removing DPF, fuel flows much more easily and faster, increasing overall fuel efficiency.
