Installation Notes
Note: Prior to installation, please compare the parts that you have received with the bill of materials listed above to ensure that you have all the necessary parts for installation.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is cool and the vehicle is in a stable condition. Open the hood and make sure all relevant parts are easily accessible.
Step 2
Locate the CCV filter on top of the engine (usually near the valve cover). Use a suitable tool to remove the screws and clamps around the CCV filter. Carefully remove the CCV filter and the hose it is connected to.
Step 3
Connect the new hose from the ReRoute Kit to the CCV filter outlet, making sure the connection is tight and leak-free. Connect the other end of the hose to the new exhaust location, usually a safe location in the engine compartment (such as away from hot components). Use the clamp provided in the kit to secure the hose in place.
Step 4
Make sure all connections are secure and that all hoses are not twisted or kinked. Check all connections for signs of leaks.
Step 5
Put all removed parts and tools back in place and make sure there are no extra items in the engine compartment. Start the engine and check whether the newly installed CCV system is working properly without leakage or abnormal noise.
